Taveuni Beaches
Taveuni is well-known as a destination for soft adventure holidays and tours. The island is not especially known for its beaches though it does have some of the most beautiful beaches in Fiji. Most of the best beaches are located on the northern shores of the island near Matei and Lavena.
Many beaches on Taveuni, as in other parts of Fiji, have English and Fijian names and mostly named after the village, town or resort near the beach. One of the most famous beaches is Prince Charles beach located in the north of Taveuni, so named following a visit of HRH Prince Charles, who visited Taveuni in the 1970s.

- Korolevu Island Beaches (off Waiyevo)
- Qamea Landing (black sand) - private boats go from here to Qamea
- Lavena Beach - the best beach on Taveuni
- Salialevu Beach - in the south. Remote and not usually visited by tourists
